1. Content of the website
A range of information is available on the homepage (www.zuerich-exkursion.com) for your information. The operator of the website strives to ensure that the information provided is correct and up-to-date. Despite the care involved, no guarantee can be given for the topicality, correctness or completeness of the content provided.
2. Effectiveness of the General Terms and Conditions
The client accepts these general terms and conditions when placing the order. The contract is concluded exclusively on the basis of these General Terms and Conditions.
3. Changes, additions, additional agreements to the service
The type and scope of the contractual services can be found in the service description in the order confirmation. Changes, additions or additional agreements must always be made in writing. The contractor expressly reserves the right to change the information if unavoidable reasons make it necessary. The client will be informed of this immediately in writing. The indication of the duration of the tour is an approximate value based on the contractor’s knowledge. Depending on the group size or other circumstances, deviations from this time are possible. The client undertakes to take this into account when planning the follow-up appointments etc. to be taken into account.
City tour of the old town: duration approx. 2 hours
Reformation city tour: duration approx. 1.5 hours
4. Disclaimer
Liability claims against the operator of the website which relate to material or immaterial damage caused by the use or non-use of the information on the website or by the use of incorrect or incomplete information are fundamentally excluded unless there is evidence of intentional or gross negligence on the part of the operator of the website.
In addition, the operator of the website expressly reserves the right to change, supplement or delete individual parts or the entire website, including the dates, or to temporarily or completely stop publication without prior notice.
During the city tour, the contractor assumes no liability for the customer’s own fault or third-party fault (falls and other accidents, misconduct in traffic, loss of property, force majeure events, etc. (The list is not exhaustive.)). Participation in guided tours is at your own risk and risk. The contractor is exempt from any liability. The law of the Republic of Austria applies. The place of jurisdiction is the court responsible for the place of residence of the tour provider.
5. Intellectual property, intellectual property rights
The content of the homepage is protected by copyright. The available content is either the intellectual property of the operator or the intellectual property of third parties who have agreed to the use of the respective content on the homepage. The use and/or reproduction of the contents of the homepage in other electronic and/or printed media is not permitted without prior express written consent. The right to assert claims for damages and/or injunctive relief remains reserved.
Image and audio recordings of the guide as well as recordings and audio recordings of the tour content are not permitted.
6. Conclusion of contract
The contract is concluded when the amount owed by the client has been credited to the contractor’s account and the written order confirmation has subsequently been issued. Important: Orders will be accepted in writing by email no later than 9 p.m. the day before.
7. Accessibility
When concluding the contract, the contractor must be given a mobile number where the client can be reached on the day of the tour.
8. Performance of the contract and cancellation
The contractor undertakes to correctly fulfill the contractual services. However, it should be noted that the city tours offered do not wait for late participants; Therefore, in such a case, the contract is not worsened by the contractor. If the service is impossible or canceled by the contractor after conclusion of the contract for reasons for which the contractor is solely responsible, e.g. in the case of illness, payments already made by the customer will be refunded. Any outstanding claims of the contractor against the customer from the canceled booking will be cancelled.
If the service is impossible or canceled by the contractor for reasons for which the contractor is not responsible and the customer proves that he was not at fault, the contractor has the right to refund a maximum of 50%; however, the contractor is not obliged to do so. For example, in the event of force majeure (sudden storm, thunderstorm, hurricane, etc.), the contractor can withdraw from or cancel the agreed service; the fee is owed pro rata for the service already provided.
9. Sequence of the city tours, choice of language
The city tours offered are carried out in all weather conditions (including rain and snow). An exception exists in connection with the likelihood of danger to life and limb (see point 8, paragraph 2).
The client can choose between German and English. For mixed groups there is the option of a city tour in German and English alternating (the same guide). The duration of the city tour can be extended (see point 3, paragraph 2).
The location of the start of the city tour (city center) will be communicated to the client in writing. If the starting location is not at this location due to the client’s request, the resulting expenses will be charged separately.
10. Withdrawal by the client
Any cancellations will be accepted by telephone or email.
11. Cost of Service
12.a. Public tours
Individuals: 30 CHF
Children aged 6-14: 15 CHF
Children aged 0-5: 0 CHF
11.b. Private tours (groups)
1-3 people: 190 CHF
4-6 people: 260 CHF
7-20 people: 330 CHF
12. Cancellation conditions
The contractor’s cancellation conditions, which must be accepted by the customer when placing the order, determine the financial consequences of a cancellation of the service by the customer: Cancellation of the service by the customer up to 48 days before it is carried out is cost-neutral and a full refund will be given. If the order is canceled 48 to 0 hours before execution, the total amount will be owed.

13. Obligation of the client to cooperate
The client is obliged to cooperate in the fulfillment of the agreed contract and to avoid any damage or disruption. In particular, the client undertakes to inform the contractor of any special features of the person or group profile (e.g. movement and visual restrictions) in good time before the tour begins. If such information is not provided or only occurs during the tour, the contractor assumes no liability for any necessary service restrictions.
14. Payment Terms
The amount must be paid in CHF to the contractor’s account.
Important: Bank charges for transfers in favor of Zurich Excursion are entirely borne by the client. No external bank charges are paid by Zurich Excursion.

15. Final provisions
If parts of the terms of use do not, no longer or do not fully comply with the applicable legal situation, the remaining parts remain unaffected in terms of their content and validity.
